Yurinoki (Turip Trees ) avenue

This avenue of yurinoki (turip tree ) extended over 200m long from the front gate of Shinshu University, and selected one of the best 100 fine scenerys of Nagano prefecture. These magnificent 20m in hight and 50 trees change into beautiful dark green in eary summer and turn into golden color in fall. As Shinshu University is famous for yurinoki, Hokkaidou University is poplar,Tokyo University is ginkgo and Waseda University is famous for redwood.
