Great Bhudda
in Koutokuin-Temple at Kamakura

Monk named "Jyo-ko" collected donation for the Buddha around countries of Japan.
So a consecrating ceremony of a newly made Buddha held at 1243. First it was made by wood later made by bronze in 1252, however the house of Great Buddha carried away by a tsunami in 1498.
It has a height of 12.5m(Great Buddha of Nara is 14.7m in height, rebuilt at the Tokugawa period)
