Nyamabondo said he wanted to make a model that included both the intense energy of a herd of zebras crossing a river,and the settled tranquility of a quiet landscape.
It was because this national park is a landscape filled with dramatic contrtasts.
The stripes on the zebras were painted on using toothpicks.
It was such delicate work that his eyes were completely red afterward.
